DALARGIN Ellara - synthetic hexapeptide for the treatment of stomach ulcers and pancreatitis

DALARGIN Ellara is a synthetic hexapeptide for peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase, acute pancreatitis.

Active ingredient:

Tyrosyl-D-alanyl-glycyl-phenylalanyl-leucyl-arginine diacetate

Indications:

As part of combination therapy for peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase; acute pancreatitis; pancreatic necrosis.

Pharmachologic effect:

Synthetic hexapeptide, analogue of leucine-enkephalin. Suppresses proteolysis and promotes healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers. It has moderate antisecretory activity, reduces the acidity of gastric juice.
Suppresses the external secretion of the pancreas in response to various stimuli (including food, secretin). In case of damage to the pancreas, the drug reduces hyperfermentemia, limits the foci of necrosis and promotes their replacement with a full-fledged tissue, weakens the synthesis of proteolytic enzymes by the pancreas.
It has a slight hypotensive effect.

Drug interaction:

Enhances the effect of opioid analgesics. Naloxone blocks the anti-ulcer effect of this drug.

Dosing regimen:

Enter intramuscularly or intravenously. Depending on the indications and the clinical situation, a single dose of 1-5 mg, the frequency of use is 1-4 times / day. The course of treatment is determined individually.

Contraindications for use:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance; arterial hypotension, acute infectious processes; pregnancy, breastfeeding period; age up to 18 years.
Use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Special instructions:

During treatment, due to possible side effects (decrease in blood pressure, which can lead to dizziness and impaired visual perception), it is recommended to be careful when engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed
