Description

PYROGENAL is a broad-spectrum immunomodulator, primarily working by activating the reticuloendothelial, hypothalamic-pituitary, and fibrinolytic systems.

Pyrogenal exhibits adjuvant, desensitizing, and anti-inflammatory effects, enhances overall and specific immune resistance, and influences the thermoregulatory centers in the hypothalamus.
By stimulating phagocytic cells, it promotes phagocytosis, the release of reactive oxygen species, and the production of interleukins (IL-1, IL-2), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), and interferons (IFN-α).
Through its action on fibroblasts, it reduces collagen synthesis and accelerates fibrocyte maturation. It enhances hyaluronidase activity, improving tissue permeability, supporting fibrinolysis, restoring blood flow, preventing scar and adhesion formation, resolving existing adhesions, preventing vascular obstruction, and promoting tissue regeneration and epithelial repair.

Stimulates adrenal cortex activity: exhibits anti-inflammatory effects, elevates hormone levels in the bloodstream, and activates the kinin system.

Indications:

Pyrogenal affects multiple organs and systems, which makes it suitable as a non-specific therapeutic agent for a variety of conditions.

This preparation is used for non-specific treatment of chronic liver disorders, urethral and ureteral strictures, chronic prostatitis and urethritis, inflammatory diseases of the uterine appendages, abdominal adhesions, burns, and sexually transmitted infections. It is also applied for immunoprophylaxis and immunorehabilitation in cases of incomplete recovery following acute bacterial or viral infections.

The ease of use of suppositories, proven clinical effectiveness in various conditions, and good patient tolerability allow for outpatient administration.
