EXOMITIN® Hydrogel is designed for skin care after negative thermal or mechanical effects, as well as for the care of problem and damaged skin. Thanks to the innovative formula, the mitochondrial antioxidant SkQ1 has a protective and soothing effect in the occurrence of various kinds of irritation, redness and dryness of the skin.

EXOMITIN® Hydrogel has bactericidal and regenerative effects and has a wound healing effect based on Skulachev ions - active compounds that protect the energy stations of the cell, mitochondria, from oxidative stress. The main substance in Exomitin® is the mitochondrial antioxidant SkQ1. The SkQ1 molecule reduces the time of the inflammatory phase of healing, accelerates the process of formation of new blood vessels in an organ or tissue, as well as the upper layer of skin (epithelium) at the site of skin damage. The benzalkonium chloride included in the gel complements the wound-healing effect of SkQ1 with an antimicrobial effect.

Ingredients:

PEG 400, PEG 1500, benzalkonium chloride, lactic acid, SkQ1 (plastoquinonyldecyltriphenylphosphonium chloride), water.

Suggested use:

EXOMITIN® Hydrogel should be applied in a thin layer one or several times a day directly to problem areas of the skin. Let it soak in for 15-30 minutes.
Suitable for long-term use, including in combination with other skin care products, in order to reduce negative effects.
If necessary to use together with other products, apply first.

Storage and transportation conditions:

At a temperature of 2-8°C in a place protected from light. Short-term storage and transportation are allowed at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, strictly in a place protected from light! 
After opening, store for no more than 6 months at a temperature of 2-8°C in a place protected from light!

SkQ is a class of mitochondria-targeted antioxidants developed under the leadership of academician Vladimir Skulachev. In 2005, the group of academician V.P. Skulachev developed a new mitochondrial-targeted antioxidant. In order to fundamentally increase its effectiveness, plastoquinone was used - a substance from the most oxygen-saturated place in living nature - plant chloroplasts.
