MitoVitan® ACTIVE PLUS - Antioxidant SkQ1 High Concentration

MitoVitan® ACTIVE PLUS - Antioxidant SkQ1 High Concentration is designed to care for normal and dry skin. MITOVITAN® Active+ has an antioxidant effect, stops the aging program on all layers of the skin, smoothes the skin, evens out the tone of the face, also has a regenerating, protective and soothing effect, reduces skin irritation. The Active+ concentrate contains the highest concentration of the active component SkQ1 in this cosmetic line.

Antioxidant SkQ1 is able to penetrate and accumulate directly in mitochondria - in the places where free radicals are formed. This makes it a thousand times more potent than coenzyme Q10. Thus, the MitoVitan® Active Concentrate slows down the aging program day after day, neutralizing excess free radicals.

SkQ1 was developed at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov under the guidance of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Skulachev. Years of scientific and clinical research have shown that Skulachev's Ions slow, stop or reverse the development of many signs of aging.

How it works:

Skin cells are constantly renewed, while maintaining a balance between cell death and their appearance as a result of division. While we are young, the regeneration rate is enough to maintain the required quantity and quality of cells, the skin has sufficient thickness, it has enough elastin and other substances that give it a youthful appearance. With age, this balance shifts towards death and the skin ages, which is primarily manifested in its appearance.

MITOVITAN® Active+ concentrate includes a unique component - the antioxidant SkQ1. It combines many years of work of biologists and the power of the most powerful antioxidant from plant chloroplasts - plastoquinone. The special structure of the SkQ1 antioxidant, which includes the Skulachev ion, allows the molecule to penetrate into the most inaccessible place in the cell - mitochondria, where it neutralizes excess free radicals, thereby slowing down age-related changes (including inflammation) of the skin at the intracellular level. The target of the SkQ1 molecule is the so-called inflaming - age-related skin changes, associated with an increase in inflammation. SkQ1 fights it at the intracellular level, keeping the skin young.

Ingredients:

Purified water, glycerin, plastoquinonyldecyltriphenylphosphonium chloride (mitochondrial antioxidant SkQ1), lactic acid.

Suggested use:

MitoVitan Active+ Concentrate can be used with any cosmetics: just mix a few drops with your usual care products immediately before applying to cleansed skin. MitoVitan® Active can be used continuously or as a course. The recommended duration of the course is three months.

Immediately before applying to the skin, mix a few drops of MitoVitan® Active with your usual product (cream, gel, tonic, milk, etc.).
We do not recommend combining the concentrate with alkaline (including slightly alkaline) cosmetic products (pH value above 7), because in this medium, the SkQ1 molecule is the least stable. Such products, for example, include conventional shampoos. In this case, we recommend adding MitoVitan® Active to a hair balm (which usually has a pH below 7) or using a shampoo labeled as pH neutral or pH acidic.

Recipe #1 FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS WITH A THICK CONSISTENCY

As a base, you can use any of your basic skin care products for the face (including products for the area around the eyes) and body.

Mix 1-2 drops of MitoVitan® Active+ with 1 ml (one scoop of Mito) of your cosmetic product (serum/cream/oil). Thoroughly mix the mixture in the Mito-jar until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

Apply the resulting mixture with light patting movements along the massage lines on the cleansed skin of the face and neck. It is recommended to apply using the "finger rain" method - this relaxes the muscles and normalizes blood circulation.

For convenience, the mixture can be prepared in a larger volume, but based on the same ratio - 1-2 drops of MitoVitan® Active+ per one measured Mito-spoon.

IMPORTANT: It is recommended to store the finished mixture for no more than 2 weeks.

Recipe #2 FOR LIQUID COSMETICS

As a base, you can use any of your basic skin care products for the face, body and head.

Mix 10 ml (1/2 volume of Mito bottle) of your cosmetic product with 10 drops of MitoVitan® Active. Shake the closed Mito bottle thoroughly for 20 seconds until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

Apply the resulting mixture as directed in the instructions for use of your base product.

MitoVitan® Active is water-based and can be difficult to add to cosmetic oils. In this case, immediately before applying to the skin, it is necessary to mix the mixture very carefully by shaking. As a result, a suspension of small concentrate bubbles forms in the cosmetic oil, which must be applied to the skin as soon as possible. It is not recommended to store the resulting mixture.

IMPORTANT: It is recommended to store the finished mixture for no more than 2 weeks (with the exception of mixtures with cosmetic oils).
