HEPON (2mg) - immunomodulatory agent

HEPON enhances the immune protection against infections.

Hepon has an immunomodulatory and antiviral effect:

• causes the production of alpha and beta interferons;
• mobilizes and activates macrophages;
• limits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (interleukins -1,6,8 and tumor necrosis factor);
• stimulates the production of antibodies to various antigens of an infectious nature;
• increases the content of CD4+ T cells and NK cells;
• increases the functional activity of neutrophils and CD8T cells, which are key links in the body's defense against bacteria, viruses and fungi;
• inhibits viral replication.

Thanks to these pharmacological properties, Hepon increases the body's resistance to infections caused by viruses, bacteria and fungi. Hepon has an anti-inflammatory effect within 1-2 days after application.

Composition:

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE: Treonyl-glutamyl-lysyl-lysyl-arginyl-arginyl-glutamyl-threonyl-valyl-glutamyl-arginyl-glutamyl-lysyl-glutamate (Hepon) 2 mg

Indications for use:

Within the combination therapy: treatment of mucosal and skin infections caused by Candida fungi; decrease of the inflammation degree (reddening, oedema, pruritus, burning, pain) on the mucosae and skin, dryness of mucosae. Prophylaxis of skin and mucous membranes candidiasis secondary to antibacterial treatment.

Method of administration and posology:

For topical, external application.
Before use, dissolve the medicinal product in water for injection (in case of external preparation use, i.e. for skin treatment) or in 0.9 % sodium chloride solution (in case of topical preparation use, i.e. for mucosae treatment).

Recommended dose for adults and children aged 12 years old and over is 1-2 mg as a 0.02 % solution for topical treatment of the mucosae once daily.

Recommended dose for adults and children aged 12 years old and over is 1-2 mg as a 0.04 % solution for treatment of the skin once daily.

Form release:

Lyophilizate for solution for intramuscular injection. 2mg in a vial. 1 vial.

Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature of 2° to 8°С. Keep out of the reach of children.
