PROSTATILEN 5mg prostate extract in solution for intramusculnar injection

PROSTATILEN® is a ultra purified polypeptide of animal origin developed to treat prostate disorders. The efficacy had been proved for over 20 years in clinical practice. The product can be used either as monotherapy or as a part of a therapy in combination with other drugs appointed by the doctor.

Prostatilen has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Helps to reduce edema, stagnation of secretions, leukocyte infiltration of the prostate gland. Normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells. Has anti-inflammatory effect. Prostatilen has antiaggregate activity, prevents the development of venule thrombosis in the prostate gland.

Ingredients:

1 ampoule (1.5 ml) contains:
Active substance:
Prostate extract (Prostatilen®)* 5 mg (as water-soluble peptides)
Auxiliary substance:
Water for injection up to 1.5 ml
*- substance Prostatilen® contains prostate extract with the addition of glycine. The content of glycine in one ampoule is from 20.0 to 30.0 mg.

Indications:

Chronic prostatitis; complications after surgical interventions on the prostate gland.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, age up to 18 years.
Use during pregnancy and lactation: Not applicable. The drug is used only for treatment in adult men.

Dosage and administration:

Intramuscularly, 5-10 mg, 1 time per day, for 5-10 days. If necessary, repeat the course after 1-6 months.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Overdose:

Cases of drug overdose are not described.
